GoPro 12 Black
Hey guys, on this occasion we made a testing video with the following rig:
2x Gopro 12 + Max Lens 2.0 (8K 60fps 177FOV)
1 Gopro remote control
1 3D printed case
The results were very good, we were amazed at the potential of this camera for drones and underwater.
PROS:
1) It is a very economical rig compared to other alternatives on the market, including the Calf. Its price is approximately $1000.
2) Very light. 380g
3) Easy to shoot
CONS:
1) The batteries don\\\\\\\'t last long.
2) Memory cards are slow to download footage.
3) The lenses present video distortion at the extremes.
4) The sync must be done in software and is not that precise. In very moving scenes, the desynchronization is noticeable.
5) The workflow is complex. Requires medium-advanced knowledge.
CONCLUSION.-
It is an excellent low-budget alternative, in addition to being very versatile to transport. Highly recommended for drones and aquatic shots. It is not for professional work, however the sharpness with nearby elements is surprising.
