New: AI passthrough!
This amazing Deo feature uses the power of AI to turn every VR scene into AR passthrough! Now you can take characters out of VR and have them right there with you - as if they were in the same room.
Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.
Recommended headsets:
Meta Quest 3, and Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).
Compatible headsets:
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).
Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.
Check out our complete guide to passthrough and join in the discussion at our busy forum.
We are on the back of a boat, making our final approach to the pristine shores of Cayo Icacos, a small uninhabited island off the coast of Puerto Rico. The water here is famously clear—a vibrant turquoise that lets you see right down to the sandy bottom even from the boat. You can watch the shoreline get closer as happy beachgoers enjoy the shallow waters.
This video captures the genuine physical sensation of being on the water. Because we are on a floating vessel, there is a natural, rhythmic rocking motion as we bob in the swell. I haven't stabilized this artificially because I want you to feel the actual movement of the ocean. It’s a peaceful, sunny arrival to paradise, but it definitely feels like you have your "sea legs" on.
I love sharing these unscripted, 'regular life' moments so you can experience places you might not be able to visit physically right now. Whether you are travel-planning or simply unable to leave home, my goal is to make you feel like you are truly walking (or boating) right here beside me.
Viewing Tips: Motion Warning: Because this video captures the real sway of the boat, it can feel very intense in a headset. If you are prone to motion sickness, take it slow or watch on a flat screen first. Look forward to explore the 3D depth. Use the YouTube VR app to appreciate the clarity of the water and the distance to the beach.
