Japan Destroyers "Natori" & "Murasame"

An event featuring a public viewing of Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyers was held at the Sendai Port Takamatsu Wharf in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, organized by the Miyagi Prefecture Self-Defense Force Cooperation Association.

Visitors were able to tour the interior of the *Natori*, a state-of-the-art frigate-type destroyer (note that video recording on the deck was prohibited).

The older destroyer *Murasame* was also docked next to the *Natori*, offering a delightful surprise: the chance to see the new and old vessels side-by-side.

As the footage shows, both ships were swaying quite noticeably.

There was also a scene typical of Japan, with visitors patiently queuing for their turn. Since the older destroyer had been opened to the public previously, this footage focuses primarily on the frigate-type destroyer *Natori*.
Incidentally, the ship with the larger hull is the older destroyer.
