From a distance this route looks absolutely brutal: exposed traverses cut across a near-vertical wall, with the valley dropping away beneath your boots. In reality, once clipped into the cable, it is surprisingly manageable — and a fantastic introduction to serious exposure for anyone already comfortable with heights.
The route takes us across the dark rock of Crepa Neigra, past airy traverses and a ladder, before reaching the grassy summit at 2,535 m, with huge panoramic views toward Marmolada, Gran Vernel, the Sella Group, Sassolungo and Sassopiatto.
It looks terrifying.
It feels enormous in VR.
And yes — some sections make you very aware of just how much air there is below you. 😬
