Tokyo Station.
There is “Tokyo Station” in Tokyo.
Shinkansen and various trains come and go.
The red brick station building, built in 1914, has a stately structure that makes you feel the weight of history. Many people gather in the plaza in front of the Marunouchi entrance to take commemorative photos.
And in front of the opposite side of the station is the Emperor's Imperial Palace.
When ambassadors from various countries arrive, you can see horse-drawn carriages traveling from Tokyo Station to the Imperial Palace.
The Imperial Palace is where Edo Castle was located during the Edo period. It is still surrounded by a moat and you can see the old stone walls.
If you're tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, be sure to walk along the road from Tokyo Station to the Imperial Palace. I'm sure your heart will be healed.
