Shanhua Temple, located in Datong City, Shanxi Province, was founded in the 8th century. It is the largest and best-preserved architectural complex from the Liao and Jin dynasties in China. Check out the famous "internet celebrity" Heavenly King statue in the Heavenly King Hall, admire the majestic Vairocana Buddha in the Three Saints Hall, and witness the incredible craftsmanship of ancient Chinese architects in the Mahaviro Hall.
