From Leo AI: The only official music video for "L.A. Woman" was directed by Ray Manzarek and produced by Rick Schmidlin in 1985, fourteen years after Jim Morrison's death. Created to promote the song on MTV, it was later included in the Doors film Dance on Fire. The video features actress Krista Errickson as the titular "LA Woman" and musician John Doe (of the band X) as the male lead, combining new footage shot in Venice Beach, California, with archival clips of the band. Also included were scenes from the movies Bullitt, Duel and Vanishing Point.
