Lost Place: NATO Radar Station, #Urbex
On the grounds of an abandoned military base somewhere in Europe lies a decommissioned NATO radar station. Once a central component of the Control and Reporting Center (CRC), it played a key role in regional airspace surveillance and the coordination of air traffic between two countries.
Equipped with state-of-the-art radar technology, direct NATO connectivity, and military security, it was considered one of the most significant radar stations in Europe. Since 2021, the facility has been abandoned, yet its imposing architecture and former strategic importance still make the past palpable.
