Scotland’s Entire Coastline – Part 2: Carsethorn to Southerness Lighthouse
Welcome back to Scotland’s Entire Coastline – Part 2.
Today we’re flying from Carsethorn to the Southerness Lighthouse, following the quiet sweep of the Solway and the wide open sands that shape this forgotten stretch of Dumfries & Galloway.
Starting above Carsethorn – a tiny Scottish coastal hamlet with one road, one pub, and a whole lot of history – we rise into the sky and follow the shoreline as it curves south toward the sentinel at Southerness. Along the way:
• narration and exposition on the area
• stunning low-tide sandbars and shifting channels
• the lighthouse standing watch over the Firth
• and a real sense of how wild, quiet and untouched this coastline truly is.

Thanks for watching. Let’s go.
