Eliasfriedhof Dresden -Cemetery-

The Eliasfriedhof in Dresden was created in 1680 during the plague pandemic and is considered the most important cemetery in the city in terms of cultural history. The burial ground in the Pirnaische Vorstadt, which has been shut down since 1876 and closed since 1924 for traffic and security reasons, is a listed building. Due to its special importance, the 13,162 m² cemetery was included in the federal government's "Nationally Valuable Cultural Monuments" funding program in 2015.
