Mt. Seonun, : A Humble Valley

It's less hot climbing a mountain in the early morning to photograph the sunrise at the summit, and it feels less strenuous since you can't see objects as clearly. However, you inevitably miss out on these wonderful valleys. Usually, when you traverse a mountain, it's uncommon to come back down the same path you went up. Seonunsa Mountain is one of those cases where you do return along the ascent path. Deep valleys like those in Jirisan, or the ever-changing Cheonbuldong Valley in Seoraksan, also leave a lasting impression. However, the kind of valley I truly love is this humble type. I prefer a place where I can dip my hands into the stream, or even step into it and rest for a while. You can find such valleys in Byeonsanbando National Park and Seonunsa Provincial Park.
