Te Paki Giant Dunes - Northland/ New Zealand
Te Paki Recreation Reserve lies just 26 km south‑west of Surville Cliffs, the northernmost point of New Zealand. This circular walk begins with a climb up Ben Sandy, a 130‑metre sand dune that rewards us with sweeping 360‑degree views. From the crest, the route follows a sandy ridge before descending to a sheltered creek, which guides us back to the starting point.
