Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic views.Fukuurajima is one of the islands of Matsushima Islands in Miyagi Prefecture. It is connected to the opposite shore by the pedestrian Fukuura Bridge. The depths of Matsushima Bay. It is an island with a diameter of about 330m and an area of 6 hectares, located near the Matsushima coast and Godaido. A bridge is built from the northwest of the island to the mainland. The north side has a large bay, forming a U-shape. The back of the island's bay is sloped, and is a multipurpose plaza with flower beds. More than 130 species of trees and 200 species of wildflowers grow naturally on the island, including the northernmost species of temperate plants and subtropical plants, and the entire island has been designated as a prefectural natural park. There are walking trails on the island, a teahouse and Bentendo temple in the east, and a viewing platform on the cape in the southwest.
