The final exhibition of the master students of the Fine Arts course.
Since 2022, the exhibitions of the master students have been presented at the end of the winter semester in the Oktogon, art hall of the University of Fine Arts. In addition to the annual and diploma exhibition in summer, the show of the master students forms a second focus in the exhibition calendar of the university.
The 14 artists of this year passed their exams in the past summer semester or winter semester and are now showing works from this final phase of their studies.
The exhibition thus provides insights into current art production, as well as into thematic areas and working methods of the youngest generation.
Spacious sound and video installations are juxtaposed with painterly positions that process visual impressions of experienced realities in different ways in order to create their own pictorial inventions.
Fantastic creatures or bizarre figures form an alternative world to reflections on the flexible self and the ambivalent relationship to nature.
