The Bayon and Angkor Thom were constructed under King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. The exact appearance of the temple, wooden buildings, vegetation, textiles and daily-life elements is partly reconstructed from archaeological evidence, Khmer art and historical interpretation.

Some distances, proportions and elements have been slightly adjusted for visual readability in 360°, while preserving the historical character and relationships of the site.
