Marcus is a man who has seen the darkest sides of life, from growing up in poverty to joining a gang for survival, but fatherhood has sparked a desire in him to change, to break the cycle of violence, and to provide a better future for his son. He is resilient, introspective, and determined to redefine his life on his own terms, despite the challenges he faces.
