
We fly for about 15 minutes, at lower altitudes, through tall buildings in the central business district and along the northern shore past the reservoir.
The contrast between the highly artificially designed cities and the natural environment is impressive.
This flight departs from Kowloon Bay, near Kai Tak Runway Park. This pier-like area was Kai Tak Airport, known as one of the most challenging airports to land at. However, it was closed in 1998, and the new airport at Chek Lap Kok took over the international airport's functions on a large scale.
As a result, the city view may already differ from what is shown on Google Earth.
