This Easter, the hilarious, controversial and timeless comedy classic MONTY PYTHON’S THE LIFE OF BRIAN is showing in UK cinemas, from 7 April.
A smash hit on its original release in 1979 (and banned in Harrogate), MONTY PYTHON’S THE LIFE OF BRIAN has gone on to be named as No.1 in Channel 4’s 50 Greatest Comedy Films poll, is one of the Top 250 movies on IMDb, and has a staggering 96 per cent on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer.
If you like bad taste, they-couldn’t-make-it-today, close-to-the- bone rib-ticklers of the highest order, make sure to catch it in cinemas this Easter (including Harrogate!), before it is cancelled by the Judean Popular People’s Front.

SYNOPSIS: The film tells the story of Brian (Graham Chapman), a reluctant would-be messiah who rises to prominence as a result of a series of absurd and truly hilarious circumstances providing ample opportunity for the entire ensemble to shine in multiple roles as they mock everyone and everything from ex lepers, Pontius Pilate and the art of haggling to crazy prophets, Roman centurions and crucifixion.
