The gate-opening ceremony, held every year on January 10th, is famous throughout Japan. However, while it is said that the Wada Shrine mentioned in the previous post was the origin, Nishinomiya also boasts an impressive array of other shrines, including Hirota Shrine, Rokkohime Daizen Shrine, and Koshikiwa Shrine. But in terms of name recognition, Nishinomiya Shrine is probably the most famous! Tens of thousands of worshippers flock to the shrine during the Toka Ebisu festival, making it one of Kansai's most revered shrines for good fortune.

毎年１月１０日に行われる、開門神事は全国的に有名です。ただ、前回上げている和田神社が元とも言われますが、西宮はここ以外にも廣田神社、六甲媛大善神社、越木岩神社と何とも凄い神社が揃っています。ただ知名度で言えば西宮神社が一番有名では無いでしょうか！十日戎では何万人もの参拝者が押し寄せる、関西きっての福の神です。
