Aki Salmela, better known as Akinaattori, founded Radalle.com and helped build Finland's track day culture from nothing. When he was diagnosed with a terminal illness, he did what anyone who knows him would have predicted: dug the pit, ordered the coffin and invited his friends — while still alive.
This is the blessing ceremony in full, uncut. Aki tells how he was on his way to becoming a car designer at Coventry University, why it never happened, and what came instead. The pastor, Sampsa, gives a speech that pulls no punches. Then the coffin is carried, flowers are laid, and everyone moves on to the memorial gathering — with the guest of honour present.
