Pagoda on the Changping mountain, Beijing, China

Changping is one of the northern districts of Beijing. There are a couple of path through the surrounding mountains. The pagoda was a godsend because there was no shade and the temperatures were about 32 degrees Celsius. In the distance you can see Beijing (about 30 miles) and at the bottom in the lake the abandoned stadium which was the starting point of the triathlon of the Olympic games.
