Roman amphitheater in Trier, Germany, part 4

This roman theater was build in the year 160, and hosted up to 20,000 viewers. Here we are below the arena floor, in the cellar. Gladiators and animals could wait here and appear in the arena through the stairs. The water on the floor is drained through a small hole on the site. Originaly there was a not-flooded floor.
