The Road to Masca - Tenerife, 2025 | 360 8K

The road to Masca Village is breathtaking but could be a nerve-wracking drive for some. Situated in Tenerife, winding through the dramatic Teno Mountains with hairpin bends, steep drops, and unforgettable views around every turn.

This was our second attempt to reach Masca! Our first try didn’t quite go as planned due to us leaving it too late in the day, ran into heavy traffic, and couldn’t find anywhere to park. To make it even more intense, there were plenty of oncoming cars and huge coaches navigating the same narrow mountain road (hats off to those coach drivers - truly impressive skills!).

This was shot on the morning of Thursday 28th August 2025. The roads were much clearer and we finally had a chance to park up and explore this beautiful and remote village properly.

If you’re planning a visit and driving yourself then go early, take your time on the bends and make sure you're communicating with oncoming drivers, especially coach drivers (they'll know the roads much better than you), but just enjoy every moment of the journey - it’s easily one of the most scenic drives in the Canary Islands.
