Located over 3,800 meters above sea level on the Pamir Plateau, the Muji Volcano Group is Asia’s largest cluster of mud volcanoes. Known as “The Eye of the Pamirs,” it features cold eruptions of mud and gas, creating surreal landscapes of mineral-rich lakes and travertine formations. Surrounded by alpine meadows and snow-capped peaks, this hidden highland is home to the nomadic Kyrgyz people who have lived here for generations.
