Byeonsan-bando national park, Naesosa temple, Daeungjeon

This is Naesosa Temple's Daeungjeon (Main Hall), a thousand-year-old temple famous for its lush fir tree forest path and autumn foliage. I recorded the dawn ritual (Doryangseok) and waited for daybreak before taking this video. It's said that the temple has never suffered any accidents, such as fires, for a thousand years. While humans live for barely a hundred years and inevitably face all sorts of life's hardships and tribulations, standing before Naesosa, which has steadfastly held its ground for a millennium, my heart felt solemn with the weight of time.
