Shot on:
Canon R5C
We shoot same scenes from our "Happy Valentines Day" video on two cameras:
1) Canon R5C (8K/60fps).
2) Z Cam K1 Pro (5.7K/30fps upscaled to 8K/60fps in Topaz Video AI).
To shoot 35 minutes of video, the first camera needed 650GB, the second only 40GB. It is curious that on helmets like Meta Quest 2 the difference in quality is not very noticeable. There is a slight difference in color grading, for obvious reasons. As a result, we are trying to understand which solution would be better for creating 8K/60fps, if you already have a camera with a quality of about 6K. And perhaps the money spent on Canon EOS VR system would be better spent on a powerful computer?
Dear owners of more modern VR-helmets, please share how big the difference in quality in this test is in your opinion?
