She discovered her love for singing, dance and performance from the age of 7 years, practicing and creating in her bedroom. She was awarded best dancer at her school Talent Quests, even before any training. Her dance background consists of Funk Jazz, Street Latin and Salsa. The essence of QYN's performance has evolved over time, taking various elements of her background, Contemporary, Lyrical and Hip Hop and morphing them into her own native, unique expression of the soul. She calls it her own genre of Soul Dance.
