In the heart of Texas, a team of passionate conservationists is rewriting the story of one of the world’s most misunderstood creatures: bats.
This immersive video takes you inside Austin Bat Refuge, a nonprofit sanctuary founded by Lee Mackenzie and Dianne Odegard, with Hilary Pelham as President. Their mission: rescue, rehabilitate, and educate — offering hope and a second chance to injured and orphaned bats across the state.

We also explore EchoVision, a groundbreaking mixed reality project by artist Jiabao Li, where humans get to “see” the world like bats do — through echolocation.
