The Secret Tunnels of Warwick 360: Step Inside the Passages Beneath the Town, Rebuilt from 3D Scans

Step inside the tunnels running beneath the streets of Warwick — spaces almost nobody has stood in, reconstructed here from 3D scan data so you can walk through them in a headset.

We scanned the real passages with survey-grade equipment and rebuilt them as a navigable 360 environment. What you are looking at is not an artist's impression: the walls, the tooling marks in the stone and the dimensions of each passage come from measurements of the actual tunnels. The video starts at street level in Warwick, then takes you down into what is directly underneath.

Warwick has been built, burned and rebuilt over the centuries, and a good deal of its older fabric now sits below the pavement. Scanning is one of the only ways to record it, and one of the only ways to share it.
