White Horse Pass (Shrine of Pang Tong from the Three Kingdoms)
Baimaguan is a famous Three Kingdoms historical site in Luojiang District, Deyang, Sichuan, renowned as the place where Pang Tong (also known as Young Phoenix), the military strategist of Liu Bei's Shu Han regime, met his end. The core of the pass, the Pang Tong Shrine and Tomb, serves as an important memorial and worship site for him, characterized by its simple and solemn architecture, and is designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. Here, a section of the ancient Jinniu Road, a millennium-old pathway connecting the Central Plains with the Ba-Shu region, is preserved, with deep hoof prints bearing witness to its long history. Today, it has become a landmark destination for exploring the culture of the Three Kingdoms and the history of the ancient Shu roads.
