The Setas de Sevilla, officially known as Metropol Parasol, is a striking architectural landmark located in Plaza de la Encarnación in the heart of Seville, Spain. Designed by German architect Jürgen Mayer, it opened in April 2011 and is recognized as the world's largest wooden structure, constructed from 3,500 cubic meters of micro-laminated Finnish pine. The complex features six mushroom-shaped parasols that provide shade over a vibrant public space and offer panoramic views from its elevated walkways.
