Have you ever seen a ghost? Come as we travel to Northeastern Thailand for the Pi Ta Khon Festival or Festival of the Ghosts. Every year the locals celebrate by creating their own Pi Ta Khon, (ghosts following people) masks from palm fonds, sticky husks, and colorful paint. In this three-day festival, the residents dress up in these ghost masks - which is also the actual translation of the festival name - and party by participating in parties and parades in the Dan Sai district in the Loei province.
