Histórica! In a landmark moment for Rio Carnaval 2026, Mestra Laísa makes history as the first woman to lead a bateria solo through the Sambódromo.

This 180° "Director's Cut" features highlights of Laísa commanding the Bateria Sensação (Arranco do Engenho de Dentro) during the Mini Desfiles at Cidade do Samba. Having followed her journey since her days as a director at Beija-Flor, witnessing her debut on the Avenida is a powerful moment for the samba community.
