Abandoned Factory
Founded in 1895 near Hodruša-Hámre in Slovakia, Sandrik quickly grew into one of Central Europe's most famous manufacturers of high-quality silverware, cutlery, and metalware. The company took its name from Ján Sandrik, the owner of the land where the original factory was built. During the 20th century, Sandrik became a household name across Czechoslovakia and beyond, renowned for blending traditional craftsmanship with modern industrial production.
