Goryokaku Park in Hakodate, Hokkaido, is one of the most famous cherry blossom spots in southern Hokkaido.
Known for its stunning scenery where cherry blossoms and a star-shaped fortress come together, the park is adorned with around 1,600 Somei Yoshino cherry trees that bloom in unison from late April to early May, turning the entire area into a soft sea of pink.
