Walk through the former military landscape and discover historic firing positions, remnants of armoured warfare, an abandoned tank-washing facility, memorial sites and the Feldherrenhügel — while archival photographs reveal how dramatically this place has changed.
And then comes one of the most striking encounters: a European bison standing where military vehicles once operated.
