MAKE UP - is a musical performance by Freak-cabaret Dakh Daughters.

The performance is built in an unique way – it seems that the audience is keeping an eye on actresses like in the real mirror, while they are looking at themselves and sharing their personal stories. What does it mean to be an artist? Does it equal to a life full of joys and pleasures? Is the whole world a theater all in all?

Dakh Daughters singers are used to wearing make-up on stage — their style is bleached like a «puppet» face. But for all that their real mask – is their presence on the stage. This basic neutral cover unites their different characters, destinies, sounds and voices of each band member.

Although, the MAKE UP musical performance tells us the stories of all actors without this make-up, resulting in the creation and composition of poems and songs.
