Akiyoshidai: Japan’s Great Karst Plateau and the Underground Cave World of Akiyoshido

Akiyoshidai in Yamaguchi Prefecture is known as Japan's largest karst plateau. I visited there with my family when I was in elementary school, and I was very impressed by its vastness. This time, when I was photographing samples to convey the appeal of VR, I remembered Akiyoshidai, and decided to take a trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture for the first time in a while.

At Akiyoshidai, we not only used regular VR shooting, but also tried various methods of shooting, including time-lapse, drone, and vehicle-mounted shooting. The time-lapse part at the beginning was shot with Insta360 X3, and all others were shot with Insta360 ONE RS 1 inch 360 degree version.
