New: AI passthrough!

This amazing Deo feature uses the power of AI to turn every VR scene into AR passthrough! Now you can take characters out of VR and have them right there with you - as if they were in the same room.

Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.

Recommended headsets:

Meta Quest 3, and Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).

Compatible headsets:

Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).

Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.

@VRduck2024  Thank you for watching. I created this slideshow on my MAC. I converted the still images to video using VLC at M4V 10fps, then I used a simple editing software called Avidemux to crop the images at the desired time and merge them together without degradation when all the images are complete. Then I convert to MP4 HEVC with a frame rate of 20 fps, the minimum frame rate that can be published on DeoVR, and the video quality is default.

Hi! Your videos are very impressive, Thank you for this great work! Question: 2 years ago you used LAOWA fisheye lenses (4mm F2.8), but after you started photographing on the G100, you started using Meike lenses (MK-6.5mm F2.0).. Why? As far as I understand, with meike lenses, the camera slightly cuts the picture from the bottom and top, which is why your 3d photos have a less wide horizontal angle.. And, it seems to me, that Laowa gives a sharpness picture around the edges.. I would like to hear your opinion on choosing a lens for such shooting. Thanks!

@neokrasav4ik Thank you for watching and commenting! To answer your question, the MK-6.5mm F2.0 uses more sensor than the LAOWA 4mm to increase pixel density, so there is no waste. Also, the VR180 image seen through VR goggles has no peripheral stereoscopic effect, so its image quality is not as important. I focused on the image quality and resolution at the first angle of view with the VR goggles.

@Sinchiros3DPhotos  Thanks for the reply. Yes, I understand that you want to use the maximum number of effective pixels of the camera's sensor, even though it results in cropping the image circle.... But is the difference in image quality and sharpness really that much different between your meiko and laowa lenses? Could you please show examples shot with these lenses? Thanks! The thing is that I want to build a set like yours (two cameras + two lenses), and now in a state of market research and choosing what to buy.... Can you give me some advice? What is relevant now compared to what was relevant 1.5 years ago? At first glance, it seems that the two G100's are still the most compact and promising.... Thank you!

@neokrasav4ik  his is an image of my previous camera GX7MK2 (GX85) with a different lens See for yourself! There are many problems with using two cameras, and you must be prepared to solve them yourself. I recommend you to wait a little longer until a commercial VR180 camera is available sometime in the near future. https://photos.app.goo.gl/n3oJr1uuRq9zycuH6
