The Amsterdam LGBTQ+ Parade, known as Amsterdam Pride, is an annual event celebrating diversity and rights of the LGBTQ+ community. Taking place each August in Amsterdam, it has grown since the 1990s to be one of the world\\\'s largest Pride events. The parade serves to promote LGBTQ+ visibility, rights awareness, and progress made in acceptance and equality. A highlight is the colorful Canal Parade of decorated boats along the iconic canals. Participants include LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, organizations and businesses in a demonstration of unity and pride. In addition, Amsterdam Pride includes parties, workshops, exhibitions, screenings, discussions and more throughout the week. The LGBTQ+ rainbow flag is prominently displayed along with other symbols. Amsterdam Pride has had significant social impact by raising awareness, fighting discrimination, and fostering community. While celebrating progress in LGBTQ+ rights, it also highlights continuing challenges faced around the world. The event brings together diverse people to celebrate, raise awareness, and advocate for rights and acceptance. Filmed in VR, this video provides an immersive 360° view of the parade, using high resolution 4K+ footage resembling drone shots from above to give a unique aerial perspective.
