Moonarie, a striking mountain ridge within Flinders Ranges National Park, lies approximately 400 kilometres north of Adelaide. This hike starts on the valley floor and first ascends to a camp site below the towering Moonarie cliffs, before following the base of the cliffs for some time. At a break in the cliff-line, the hike leads up a steep gully to the ridge top, where breathtaking views of the ranges and the expansive arid plains await.
