This video is a tribute to Martín Chirino, one of the most important Spanish sculptors of the 20th century. The first half of the video is a mini-documentary on Chirino's life and work, recorded at the artist's foundation and permanent museum at the Castillo de la Luz in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The second half features a performance of "La espiral del viento", one of my metaludios for piano, inspired by Chirino's art and dedicated to his memory.
