Anfang Pagoda in Sijing Ancient Town

The name of Anfɑng Pɑgodɑ originates from the ancient folk rhyme, "Three Bows and One Arrow Pacify the Land". The three ancient bridges in Sijing and this pagoda together resemble the "three bows and one arrow", bearing the sincere prayers of the ancient town's people for a peaceful life. At the top of the pagoda, a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha is enshrined, while a golden rooster and a jade rabbit are hidden within the finial. Here, Buddhist culture blends with folk legends, endowing the ancient pagoda with a sacred and mysterious aura.
Among the upturned eaves and pointed corners, bronze bells sway gently in the wind, their ding-dong echoes floating over the ancient town and adding a touch of liveliness to the tranquil water township.
