Theme- Hashi Khushi Para
Matching up to their previous years, walking the street of Nabin Pally feels like stepping into a children's comic book with colourful characters painted on the walls of the adjacent buildings. Featuring popular Bengali children's stories characters and references to Bengali folk stories, Nabin Pally transforms into a 'Hashi Khushi Para' or a 'locality of laughter and joy'.
Durga Puja is a UNESCO recognised cultural event celebrated in the City of Joy, Kolkata. The entire city becomes an elaborate showcase of culture, craftsmanship, artistic vision and multiple art forms, each a unique homage to the Goddess.
This is Virtualism's attempt at virtually capturing the spirit of this festival which transforms our streets and lanes into a city wide carnival.
