Picture in the Mind 2026.AD.AI

Music.Art.2026.AD.AI. So I wrote Picture in the Mind in 2016 and the original recording appears on my album of the same name (see my website catalogue at Paulmarcano.com) The song lyrics articulate the wonders and experiences I create and explore through virtual reality. This version of the song Picture in the Mind features production and musical ideas suggested by algorithmic interactions and features some quite convincing vocal synthesis. With the advent of these interactive technologies you hear and see how my art, even early works can be re-purposed through algorithmically extrapolated animations and voice synthesis that refreshes my work for a contemporary audience. I am immersed everyday in expanding my use of algorithms beyond basic drum machines, or synthesized instrumentation. fact is, I feel like I am moving more towards an amiable symbiosis with these new technological tools. I won’t lie, it’s a lot of fun reincarnating some early work and ideas I may have only begun exploring at the time. Enjoy.
