Keukenhof is a flower park located outside Lisse in the Netherlands.
The park was established in 1949 and is known for its beautiful tulips.
The park is a major tourist attraction that draws many visitors during
the two months it is open each year.
Keukenhof Park covers an area of 32 hectares. About 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually.
In addition to tulips, Keukenhof also has many other flowers; hyacinths, daffodils, lilies, roses, carnations and irises.
On average, the Rijksmuseum attracts 8,000 people a day and the Efteling 14,000.
But for two months of the year, Keukenhof is the biggest tourist attraction with 26,000 visitors a day
