Inspired by the mythical HUMA BIRD,  which according to Hindu scriptures, is said never to come to rest, living its entire life flying high in the sky, even when it lays its eggs. The only time it ceases its flight is when it dies.

SOAR was originally staged by the Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre in August 2022. The 60-minute production was later adapted and re-imagined as a 17-minute version for 360-degree VR format.
