Yantai Mountain Park is located on the south bank of the Min River in Cangshan District, Fuzhou, with an altitude of 41.6 meters. It is a landmark integrating Fuzhou's historical culture and natural landscapes. Named after the smoke beacon set up here in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties to report floods, it became a concentration of consulates in modern times, with existing remains of buildings from many countries, witnessing Fuzhou's history as a treaty port.
The park is covered with ancient trees, including dozens of century-old famous trees, with high vegetation coverage and distinct scenery in four seasons. Major attractions include the Yantai Mountain Fortress site, Luoxing Pagoda (visible from a distance), and former consulate sites of various countries. Climbing to the top offers a bird's-eye view of the Min River and urban scenery, making it a park with both historical heritage and leisure functions.
