Museum in Air - Raid Shelter

The Civil Defense Culture and Art Creative Pavilion, whose predecessor was an underground civil air defense project along the Suzhou Creek, was first built in the 1960s and 1970s.
Upon entering, a flight of stairs leading to the underground space greets visitors. The pavilion has designed the staircase as an environment imitating the original underground air-raid shelter, with old photos and propaganda posters on both sides vividly depicting that historical period. Like a time tunnel, it leads people back to the era of "digging deep caves and storing abundant food".
