This 3D 180 VR experience is a visit to the Asian Garden and Bamboo Grove at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV) in Winchester, Virginia. These areas are part of the seven-acre gardens which surround the Glen Burnie House and were designed by MSV benefactor Julian Wood Glass Jr. and his partner at the time, R. Lee Taylor. The garden includes Japanese maples and weeping hemlock near the paths. Sculptures from Asia adorn the garden, including Chinese guardian lion dogs and dragons.
The Glen Burnie Gardens are open for self-guided tours from April through December. To learn more about the Glen Burnie Gardens and their sculptures, please visit the official MSV site at https://www.themsv.org/visit/the-gardens.
